Shenka Wright

Shenka is a Nova Scotia native, who has been riding horses for the last 24 years. Shenka has ridden and competed with a number of stables over the years, including with the Halifax Lancers. Her training includes, Equine business management at Dalhousie Agricultural campus, working with a hunter jumper stable in Florida and time in California learning how to be a barefoot trimmer. Shenka has taught riders from grass roots to the show ring, in both small private barns as well as larger lessons facilities in Nova Scotia. She brings a wealth of experience from different coaches and clinicians and loves sharing her passion for horses with others. Shenka, her partner Devin and infant daughter, Sophie, now call Desable, PEI home!
